AN ELDERLY couple escaped without injuries after a chimney fire broke out in their home.
Fire crew from Rayleigh Weir were called to the incident in Keats Walk, Rayleigh, at around 4.45pm this afternoon.
They spent 45 minutes extinguishing the flames using chimney rods.
